In the last few minutes, Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes was supposed to be at a press conference, but we just learned that it was cancelled, because he is currently working on some big projects and he doesn't want to have to do "two press conferences".
"Kent Hughes will not be speaking to the media in the next hour as scheduled as he is currently working on several issues." - TVA Sports
Really interesting!
"This is major!" - Éric Fichaud
Stay tuned, but we could be in for a major announcement, from the Montreal Canadiens, in the next few minutes or hours.
It's curious and it's very rare that we see this. All the journalists were gathered in the room for the press conference and they have just gone home.
It was cancelled at the last second.
It's not surprising that Kent Hughes is still working on files at the moment but for him to move his media availability, they are probably not files concerning the Rocket, let's put it like that. To be continued
