In the last few seconds, the Ottawa Sens organization just announced an 8 season contract extension for their young forward Tim Stützle.
A contract worth $8.35 million annually.
He is known by Montreal Canadiens fans, firstly, for his immense talent, but also for his little spat with forward Brendan Gallagher, who accused him of diving, in order to attract the attention of the referees.
Stützle, 20, drafted third overall in 2020, has 87 points in 132 career NHL games (34 goals).
That includes a solid 58 points in 79 games last season.
More details to follow!
