In addition to Pierre-Luc Dubois, another top-6 pick in the 2016 NHL draft is reportedly about to be traded.

Forward Matthew Tkachuk, who had 104 points in the 2021-22 season, would really be on his way out of Calgary (as well).

According to what NHL Breakers are reporting, the St. Louis Blues have made a monster offer to acquire Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk.

In return (for Tkachuk), the Flames reportedly received :

Jordan Kyrou, Torey Krug and a first round pick.

Wow. Still according to their information, the offer would have been refused by Calgary, but we can easily imagine that this is a solid basis for negotiations.

Especially since this morning, Eric Francis (ESPN) has just added a layer by saying that Tkachuk "will be a member of the St. Louis Blues", who is originally from there and has a good family history with this organization. (his father is notably the director of recruiting)

Dubois in Montreal and Tkachuk in St-Louis? It really seems to be going in that direction, especially for Tkachuk:

"Tkachuk will be a member of the Blues."

Kyrou, 24, had 75 points in 74 games in 2021-22 and on Krug's side, he had 43 points in 64 games.
