The Colorado Avalanche and the New York Rangers have just completed an important trade.
Goaltender Alexandar Georgiev is moving to the Avalanche and therefore Darcy Kuemper will become a free agent next week.
"Sources also confirm that Darcy Kuemper is OUT of Colorado. He was too expensive for the Avalanche to keep. He heads to the free agent market on Wednesday and will be free as a bird." - Pierre Lebrun
It's moving and this is just the beginning! More details to follow.
