It's been a while since we heard about Carey Price, but the Montreal Canadiens' goaltender has just opened up in a very interesting and touching interview given to the official NHL website.

In a conversation with journalist Dave Stubbs, Price discussed various topics, such as his new routine, career highlights, what led to his injury, how his knee is doing today, and much more.

For this article, we will focus on a particular question that was asked to Carey.

Price was asked by Stubbs if he is open to waiving his no-trade clause to help the Canadiens in a potential transaction.

Here is his response.

"Certainly, I want to help, no matter how," he said. "I'm still part of this team, so if I can help in any way, I'm here."

It's very clear.

It is therefore possible that Price could eventually be traded, as Shea Weber was, obviously because he will never play in the NHL again unless there is a big miracle.

Whether he is traded or not, Carey seems determined to eventually want to get involved to help the organization.

The 36-year-old goaltender is not officially retired, but we all know the circumstances. His contract valid until 2026 is on the long-term injured list.

A file to follow, but it says a lot about Price. He also had only good words to say about Montreal and his journey with the Canadiens.
