Kent Hughes is an EXCEEDINGLY respected individual and loved by the foals he represented for several years. This man, recently hired by the Montreal Canadiens, is an exceptional man, nothing less.
Thanks to this multitude of qualities, he could succeed in attracting Kris Letang and perhaps Patrice Bergeron this summer. The two players will become unrestricted free agents and to start a culture, what better than leaders of this kind to guide everything towards the right path?
Here is what Renaud Lavoie shared about this potential opportunity:
«Kris Letang. Kent Hughes was his agent until 48 hours ago. He is a great leader who is demanding of him, but also of his teammates. The other player is Patrice Bergeron, also a former customer of Hughes. Many will say that he is a "Bruins" for life. I agree, but there is a possibility that he will say at the end of the season that he wants to play for his former agent.
That's a reality. Kent Hughes, his former clients, always loved him. Letang and Bergeron will be, at the end of this season, unrestricted free agents. When it comes to a centre player and you want to build a strong culture within your company, Patrice Bergeron becomes a priority if he is available in July.»
Frankly, I'm not saying that the two stars are going to come with the Montreal Canadiens, but they will certainly be talking to Kent Hughes.
