With the myriad of big news and big signings in the last few minutes, it's been a bit overlooked, but two more defensemen are officially leaving the Montreal Canadiens organization.
The first is Kale Clague:
"Kale Clague signs a one-year, two-part contract with the @BuffaloSabres that will pay him $750,000 in the NHL. He's guaranteed $325,000." - Renaud Lavoie
Clague, 24, had 5 points in 25 games with the CH in 2021-22. (16 points in 58 career NHL games)
Second is Tobie Paquette-Bisson
"Tobie Paquette-Bisson signs a one-year deal with the @LAKings that will pay him $750,000 in the NHL, $175,000 LAH and he is guaranteed $200,000 @TVASports." - Renaud Lavoie
Paquette-Bisson, a 25-year-old Rosemere native, had 19 points in 55 games with the Laval Rocket in 2021-22. (His best career season) He played 15 playoff games with Laval.
Once again, we mention that the Laval Rocket line-up will have really changed for the opening game of the 2022 season.
More details will follow!
