Without the services of Carey Price and Jake Allen for most of the season, it is clear that the Habs do not want to go through the same situation again next season and depending on Price's health, Kent Hughes will likely have to go get reinforcements in front of the net.
On this subject, Eric Hoziel, a regular contributor on 91.9 Sports, discussed with host Martin Lemay the possibility of Marc-Andre Fleury ending up in Montreal next year.
With Price not returning next year, Hoziel doesn't see the Quebec goalie signing with the Habs, considering the organization is rebuilding and Fleury would love to add a Stanley Cup to his record.
He will be a UFA this summer and there are rumors that he could make a return with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
But if we return to the situation of Price, Hoziel was very pessimistic about what happens next and said he would not be surprised if number 31 announced his retirement.
Not a very reassuring statement from the man we discovered in Lance and Count as the likeable tough guy Mac Templeton.
