A nice surprise was on the rink in Brossard this morning, as Carey Price shone by his presence.
Number 31 looks visibly fit, due to his sharp reflexes and fluid movements on the ice.
We were not sure when Price was going to be back on the ice, but he was expected to be present for the first game of the season. He was recently recovering from a knee injury he suffered last season.
This is great news for the Habs organization. Price will likely be back in the lineup for the pre-season games, from what we can tell. A 100% Price is always nice to see!
The native of Anahim Lake in British Columbia skated for a total of 10 minutes, before retiring to the dressing room. It will obviously be a gradual return for the Canadiens' goaltender, who has a history with lower body injuries.
