Almost two months after the dismissal of their former GM, the Vancouver Canucks would have finally found their successor!
In fact, TSN informant Darren Dreger revealed that Patrik Allvin would be about to win the position. Everything therefore suggests that Mathieu Darche would be ignored again!
Aged 47, Allvin has worked primarily as a recruiter for the past 20 years. He began his career with the Montreal Canadiens from 2002 to 2006 before joining the Pittsburgh Penguins, with whom he served as director of European player recruitment, as well as deputy general manager.
Allvin would thus be the last piece to join the new Canucks guard, composed, for now, of Jim Rutherford as president, and Émilie Castonguay, who would become his assistant.
