Tuukka Rask spent the summer of 2021 recovering from hip surgery in hopes of returning to play last season with the Boston Bruins. It didn't turn out the way he wanted as his return was short lived. He was forced to retire from the game, after at least trying his best to return.
He leaves hockey with a career record of 306-163-66 in 560 appearances and is the winningest goalie in franchise history.
The newly retired player showed off all his dancing skills in a video that went viral at his wedding to his longtime girlfriend, Jasmiina Nikkila. We can definitely say that his hip is holding up!
Rask's former Bruins teammates, including Patrice Bergeron, Milan Lucic, Torey Krug, Brad Marchand and Charlie McAvoy traveled to Italy to attend the event.
