Today, the day after the medical exams and physical tests, it was officially the start of the Montreal Canadiens' training camp, and we are closely monitoring what is happening on the ice in Brossard.
Check out some pictures.
It allows us to see the players who are in shape, and those who have work to do in preparation for the new season.
Mike Hoffman certainly falls into the category, while Sean Monahan seems to be in great shape, which is very encouraging in his case:
"Oval Catch Exercise: Gallagher caught twice by Armia, Hoffman "lapped" by Monahan.
Not always easy on the first day of camp." - Kevin Vallée
Wow! Let's remember that Monahan is supposed to be less than 100%, still recovering from an injury/operation. As for Hoffman, that says a lot about his speed and early camp stamina. To be continued!
Is it Monahan who is impressive, or Hoffman who is really disappointing? You be the judge.
