Prior to the Montreal Canadiens meeting with the Tampa Bay Lightning, an oddball posted this on his Facebook account:

"I don't care if the Habs win or not, but one thing I care about is Rafaël Harvey-Pinard's first NHL game. RHP will score a first goal in the show in its first game since it is the kind of player to achieve this feat!"

That man was me. No, I'm not divine and I don't read in minds, but I know Rafaël Harvey-Pinard very well as a player and as an individual. This 22-year-old is special, and every time he gets on the ice, whether it's in the QMJHL, the American Hockey League, or even recently, the NHL, he provokes things.

When he was captain of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, with whom he raised the President's Cup and the Memorial Cup, he demonstrated many time that his level of leadership was special. Mario Pouliot, pilot of the team at the time, had already confided in me about «RHP» and he had bright eyes when he talked about his captain.

First in the gym, always smiling, NEVER budging, inspires his teammates with his wide smile, his hard work, his combativeness, his desire to win, his way of speaking and his ATTITUDE. He is the type of player that must be included in your reconstruction because of his character, his energy and, I repeat, his ATTITUDE.

Honestly, the combination of Ryan Poehling, Cole Caufield and "RHP" was the best on the ice on Tuesday night, in this 5-4 (overtime) loss to the Bolts. Jeff Gorton must write down on his notebook the players who are to be involved in the reconstruction of the ship.

In short, in addition to that, the «kid» expresses himself very well, so how not to love him? IMPOSSIBLE!
