The Ottawa Senators crushed the Florida Panthers 8-2 on Tuesday night, which became a second consecutive win for D.J. Smith's team. In their last ten games, they have won five times, while the Montreal Canadiens have won just once in ten games.
Smith's team is hungrier, more aggressive, more committed and they work TOGETHER. This is not the case for those guided by Dominique Ducharme. In short, without taking aim at the Montreal Canadiens, Nick Paul gave the recipe that the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge should follow.
"We just needed a few wins to get a good feeling in our locker room. Right now, we are working hard and together. The positive bounces are going our way too." - Paul
"Every player is always thinking about the next time they are on the ice. There is a good atmosphere in the group, but we have to make sure we keep our foot on the gas. After going through an unsuccessful streak in November when guys were out, we are enjoying these wins and successes against good teams. We are ready to do whatever it takes to win hockey games." - Smith
In short, the grit, conviction and commitment, all of which the Habs don't have. The current CH doesn't have a Brady Tkachuk either to take the reins of a difficult situation and get it back on track.
Who shows a bit of pride in the Montreal Canadiens?
