Worrying scene live from the Montreal Canadiens practice
While the Canadiens were on the ice in the last few minutes for the morning practice ahead of tonight's game against the Vegas Golden Knights, we saw some disturbing footage.
Sean Monahan and Brendan Gallagher were absent. They never showed up on the ice.
They are expected to play tonight, but it's certainly not ideal.
Are Monahan and/or Gallagher at 100%? It doesn't seem so, and it's definitely something to keep an eye on.
An injury to Sean Monahan would probably be one of the worst things that could happen to the CH right now, for many reasons.
Even for Gallagher, he's doing very well this season and we really hope he stays at 100% of his abilities.
Speaking of concerning, in addition to Monahan and Gallagher, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard was also absent, and in his case, the CH has confirmed that he is unfortunately injured.
We still have no news about the other two, however. No news, good news?
For now, we remember that everything indicates that they will be able to face the Golden Knights (except RHP), but it's definitely something to keep in mind.
