We have a lot of action with the Montreal Canadiens today.

Let's recall that forward Patrik Laine is now practicing with a regular jersey, so his return to play is more imminent than ever.

Don't be surprised if he's back in the lineup very soon!

Let's also remember that the organization has recalled forward Joshua Roy from the Laval Rocket:

But that's not all.

An intriguing scene live from the Montreal Canadiens practice in Brossard

Knowing that Laine will be inserted into the lineup as a forward, and knowing that forward Joshua Roy will also be included in Martin St-Louis' formation, it quickly becomes apparent that something is going to happen.

A change will inevitably be announced on offense.

Will a player be placed on waivers? Is a forward about to be traded by Kent Hughes?

Will an unexpected name be scratched from Martin St-Louis' lineup and sent to the stands? Stay tuned, but management certainly has a plan in mind.

They didn't recall Joshua Roy just to leave him in the stands.

The Montreal Canadiens face a logjam with 23 players, including Roy, but with Laine and RHP expected to be ready soon, a move by Hughes seems inevitable.

We might be thinking here about a certain Kirby Dach, but let's wait and see.

One thing is certain, it was quite mysterious to see Lucas Condotta on the ice this morning in Brossard, especially with Patrik Laine and Joshua Roy also coming in as reinforcements to Montreal.

There are too many forwards in the mix!

What's your prediction?
