In addition to Logan Mailloux, Luke Tuch, Florian Xhekaj, Justin Barron, Joshua Roy, Jayden Struble, and company, the Rocket could make another acquisition.

Kent Hughes could indeed send the CH's 2022 1st round pick, Filip Mesar, to the Laval Rocket, and it would be an interesting acquisition for JF Houle's lineup.

This will be something to watch over the next few hours because everything could be decided tomorrow for the Canadiens' farm team.

Filip Mesar as reinforcement for the Laval Rocket?

See an excerpt from my colleagues at Marqueur.

"According to what is currently circulating on social networks, another prospect from the organization could join the Laval Rocket in the next few hours."

This was notably via an excellent podcast:

"Filip Mesar's season is over. The Kitchener Rangers were swept in the second round of the playoffs by the London Knights.

Just like last year, it wouldn't be surprising to see Mesar join the Rocket." - Podcast La Relève

In short, the Rocket must win in regulation tonight AND tomorrow, otherwise the debate surrounding Mesar will be completely irrelevant.

Mesar, 20 years old, 26th overall pick of the Canadiens in 2022, has amassed 52 points including 19 goals in 45 matches this season in the OHL.

He has been excellent in the playoffs, adding 16 points in just 10 games.

To be continued!
