In a press conference earlier today, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis confirmed a significant piece of news.

We are witnessing a real turnaround in the Christian Dvorak case.

While his season was supposed to be over, that has completely changed!

Dvorak is now being evaluated daily. We are very likely to see him again before the end of the season, according to MSL." - Anthony Martineau, TVA Sports

Christian Dvorak's status has improved and he is now being evaluated day by day, and MSL says there's a strong chance he'll play before the end of the season." - Arpon Basu, The Athletic

Wow! And just seconds after Martin St-Louis's statements to the press, the CH released an official statement.

Christian Dvorak was seen wearing a jersey indicating he could receive contact. The forward continues to recover from a major pectoral tear, an injury that was announced in January as sidelining him for the rest of the season.

In his press conference today, head coach Martin St-Louis stated that Dvorak's condition is now being evaluated daily and that there is a "good chance" he will hit the ice again in a game this season." - Montreal Canadiens

And no, this is not an April Fool's joke.

It's extremely rare to see this, but the rumor that Dvorak was on his way to defy all predictions and actually return to the game this season was indeed true!

Let's see if Kirby Dach can follow suit.

Dvorak, 28, has accumulated 7 points in 25 games this season with the CH (three goals) and has a -5 differential. His return to the lineup will force Martin to make some big decisions on attack.
