In a recent press conference, Martin St-Louis' successor, Trevor Letowski, mentioned that the two linemates greatly helped the young forward's development. Indeed, Nick and Cole have been a strong support for Slaf both on and off the ice.

The three forwards alone have scored 61 goals, which is 8 more than the total scored by the club's other three lines. A quick calculation shows that the Slaf-Nick-Cole line accounts for nearly 42% of the CH's goals this season.

The hope is for consistency from the three members of this line not just in upcoming games but in the years to come. Just imagine when Cole Caufield gets back into scoring form. Maybe then it'll be Slafkovsky who returns the favor, helping him snap out of any slump!
