Controversy: three men including Auston Matthews under investigation
Over the past few hours, a peculiar and extraordinary story has surfaced.
According to reliable sources, Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews, former Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas, and their agent, are reportedly under investigation by the NHL.
The turmoil continues in Toronto, for all sorts of reasons.
As reported by the reputable Frank Seravalli, the NHL Players Association is currently examining the relationship between Dubas and his agent because this agent in question, Chris Armstrong, also represents Auston Matthews.
You read that right. You can guess that there is an obvious conflict of interest and a strange situation here. This is potentially a serious violation.

Armstrong is not a certified NHL agent, so that complicates everything and that's why the League needs to examine everything, and investigate, before drawing conclusions and imposing potential sanctions.
