Two names have just been placed on waivers in the NHL, including a goaltender
In the last few seconds, there has been movement in the NHL waiver wire, and two names are now available for free.
Firstly, after signing him to a one-year, two-way contract, the Winnipeg Jets have just placed the name of goaltender Evan Cormier on waivers.
Cormier, 25, is a 6-foot-3, 205-pound goalie who was drafted in the fourth round in 2016 by the New Jersey Devils.
In addition, the Chicago Blackhawks have just placed the forward David Gust on NHL waivers.
Gust is a winger who has scored one goal in three games with the Hawks (NHL) this season. He has a solid 50 points and 24 goals in 51 games this season in the American Hockey League.

We will know tomorrow if they are claimed.
More details will follow.
