As we continue to look to the future of the Montreal Canadiens, we wanted to talk to you today about a very special player.

His name is Cole, and he did indeed just break the all-time record set by our own Cole Caufield:

"Cole Eiserman ties Cole Caufield's record for most goals with the American league in a season."

- Seb Gagné

If the 2023 draft is marked by talents like Connor Bedard, Adam Fantilli and Matvei Michkov, the 2024 draft will be dominated by a Cole.

Cole Eiserman!

According to TSN expert Craig Button, the 16-year-old will be the first overall pick in 2024. He goes further:

"If he were eligible to be drafted in 2023, Cole Eiserman would be a top-5 pick, overall, in my opinion."

Eiserman will play in the NCAA next season for the University of Minnesota.

Eiserman, 16, has a mind-blowing record:

- 72 points (43 goals) in 42 games this season for USDP 17.

- 14 points (11 goals) in 9 games this season for USDP 18.

- 38 points (23 goals) in 29 games in the USHL.

- 20 points (12 goals) in 7 games for the USA U17.

He scores goals so easily, it's amazing. He is probably the best goal scorer in this program, since a certain Cole Caufield.

A name to remember as the 2024 draft approaches!

Let's remember here that Caufield is a comparable talent to Eiserman, at the same age, and the Habs drafted him 15th overall. In Eiserman's case, we're talking about a 1st overall pick.

It reminds us of this: what a steal for the CH to have gotten Caufield so late in the first round! Hats off to them!
