Over the past few hours on the airwaves of RDS, a popular host has made a major statement.
To what extent should we take this? It's up to you to decide.
It's the network DansLesCoulisses that reported the news, but it comes from Yanick Lévesque:
"During the noon edition of the show On Jase on RDS, Yanick Lévesque, who co-hosts with Martin Lemay, claimed that general managers are already informed of the lottery results before the show is broadcast on television.
According to him, the draw takes place in the afternoon, and Kent Hughes and his counterparts must keep the secret until the moment when Bill Daly, deputy commissioner of the NHL, presents the results in front of the cameras.
Yanick Lévesque made this statement explicitly during one of his interventions."
In short, he outright claims that Kent Hughes already knows his draft pick position. See the exact sequence in question:
Wow, we'd love to see Kent Hughes' face right now.
