A big trade proposal just came up between the Canadiens and the Coyotes involving Arber Xhekaj

In the last few hours, the excellent Pascal Lapointe has raised an intriguing trade proposal involving the Montreal Canadiens and the Arizona Coyotes.

First of all, we want to insist and be very clear.

This is not a trade rumor that is being floated here. It's not a prediction, it's not a wish or anything, it's just a proposal to entertain you.

So, why raise such a proposal?

Simply because Lapointe, like us, was really curious to know your opinion on this particular suggestion.

So he asked this:

"I'm curious

The Coyotes are looking for two 1st (picks) or a 1st (pick) and a prospect worth a 1st (pick).

Would you do Jakob Chychrun vs Arber Xhekaj and 1st pick of the unprotected Panthers?"

TO MONTREAL -

Jakob Chychrun

TO ARIZONA -

Arber Xhekaj and 1st pick 2023 of the unprotected Panthers

As of this writing, over 1200 people have voted, and 63% of respondents would decline to make this trade.

Do you feel the same way? Would you refuse to trade Xhekaj and the Panthers' 1st unprotected 2023 pick for Jakob Chychrun?

Chychrun, 24, was drafted 16th overall in 2016. He has a solid 28 points (7 goals) in 36 games this season. He is also noted for having scored 18 goals in 56 games in 2021.

Xhekaj, 22, has 13 points (5 goals) in 51 games this season.

Remember that in recent weeks, some experts have said that Xhekaj has the value of a first round pick, but it is not unanimous now.

It's an interesting exercise and says a lot about the love of the fans towards Xhekaj.
