A scout proposes a major trade between the Canadiens and the Sharks for the 4th overall pick
In the context of a very interesting interview with journalist Jonathan Bernier, from the Journal de Montréal, a very well-informed scout agreed to speculate on a major trade proposal between the Montreal Canadiens and the San Jose Sharks involving the fourth overall pick.
It raises eyebrows.
See what he mentioned, as reported by the journalist:
I don't know what the Canadiens could offer for the second pick. However, for the fourth, it could definitely be one or two young defenders in addition to two draft picks. Logan Mailloux, maybe? I don't believe he'd fit with a Canadiens jersey on his back, estimated a scout contacted by the Journal. Would you agree to pay this price, to get your hands on the fourth overall pick in two weeks, and thus secure the services of Adam Fantilli, Leo Carlsson or Will Smith?
One thing is for sure, Kent Hughes is trying hard and we love it.
