With the trade deadline rapidly approaching, it's time for the organization to assess the current roster and prepare for the day that will take place on March 8th.

Among the files to watch, there will surely be the situation of the goaltenders.

Who will leave? Jake Allen or Cayden Primeau?

While some Canadiens fans would prefer Kent Hughes to trade Allen, Primeau's value, who has performed well since the start of the season, must also be considered and might be more interesting than one might think.

However, Hughes will need to find a partner to dance with, and one team in particular could be a natural fit for the Canadiens' goalie.

During a recent appearance on BPM Sports, Renaud Lavoie stated that he could very well see Cayden Primeau with the Philadelphia Flyers and that he has a kind of special attachment to this organization.

His father, a certain Keith Primeau, wore the Flyers' uniform in the early 2000s, and the TVA Sports journalist sees him fitting well in the black and orange uniform.

Here are his explanations:

Interesting remarks from Lavoie who believes that the Flyers should be interested in the CH's goalie, especially since a certain Carter Hart has left the organization for an unknown amount of time (possibly forever).

That said, despite Lavoie's comments, there haven't necessarily been any formal offers made by Daniel Brière to Kent Hughes to bring Cayden Primeau to Philadelphia, but by March 8th, this file will have to be followed with great interest.
