As Montreal Canadiens fans, it's very interesting to watch what's happening with the Colorado Avalanche at the beginning of training camp.

Several former Habs could land significant roles.

Today, the Avalanche announced line changes involving two names you're likely familiar with: Jonathan Drouin and Tomas Tatar.

Here's the verdict.

"Drouin-MacKinnon-Rantanen

Lehkonen-Johansen-Nichushkin

Wood-Colton-Tufte

Cogliano-Olofsson-O'Connor

MacDermid-Meyers-Kiviranta"

Via Colorado reporter Peter Baugh.

Jonathan Drouin is back on the powerful first line of the Avalanche! This bodes extremely well for him, and don't be surprised if he has his best career season!

As for Tomas Tatar, he's absent due to the following reason:

"Tomas Tatar was dealing with immigration formalities today, which is why he wasn't at practice. Cale Makar (lower body) skated this morning ahead of the group." - Baugh

It will be interesting to see how these two perform!
