In a press conference in the last few hours, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis announced that there is a "big possibility" that Joel Edmundson will play tonight in Winnipeg.

This is obviously important for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that it will be a major addition to the Tricolore's young defensive brigade, but also because his arrival in the lineup means that another player will officially be bailing.

If Edmundson is indeed inserted into the lineup today, Kent Hughes will have to make a big decision and make a personnel move to get someone out of the lineup. (to free up a spot for Edmundson)

We'll have several important answers over the next few hours.

Kent Hughes will definitely have to move in the next few hours. To be continued, it promises!

The Habs general manager has three options: send a player to Laval, send one to waivers or trade one.

Considering the high number of forwards, we imagine that it is indeed a forward who will be traded. Will it be Evgenii Dadonov?

Also, which defenseman will be left out tonight to make room for Edmundson?

Chris Wideman and Johnathan Kovacevic are options if Martin St-Louis decides to replace a righty with a lefty, if not, a guy like Arber Xhekaj could unfortunately be dropped.

One thing is for sure, we'll have the answer soon and we can't wait to see.

What is your prediction? Which forward will be sacrificed and which defenseman will be in the stands tonight?

It's going to be a bumpy ride today!
