With the opening of the upcoming NHL season fast approaching, many are already starting to make their predictions. ESPN did not do otherwise and predicted the production of several Habs players.
The television network first estimated that Nick Suzuki will accumulate 76 points next season, 15 more than last season. As for the team's other star player, Cole Caufield, he is expected to score 29 goals, six more than last year.
The network's predictions are less positive for new club darling Juraj Slafkovsky, however. Unfortunately, ESPN is predicting a very disappointing year for him, with 24 points in 62 games.
As my colleague Jean-Benoît Gagné of GoHabsGo reports, that's 10 points less than Jesperi Kotkaniemi in his first season with the CH.
Finally, ESPN estimates that Josh Anderson will get 35 points, while Kirby Dach should get 32.
Is that realistic?
