It's now official, Jack Eichel is a member of the Vegas Golden Knights. In return, the Sabres received two players who are likely to jump into the lineup soon, Peyton Krebs and Alex Tuch, older brother of CH prospect Luke Tuch.
They will be two important pieces of the Sabres' future. At first glance, you would think that there would be some disappointment in being in Buffalo in a rebuilding process, but no.
Alex Tuch made a VERY surprising statement that will blow many minds. He said that he is very happy to be back with the Sabres, his childhood team.
"It's a dream come true."
Tuch may have been a Sabres fan in the days of Derek Roy, Jason Pomminville, Thomas Vanek, Daniel Briere, Chris Drury and Ryan Miller, but his love for the team never stopped.
That's the kind of attitude the Sabres have been looking for, so Tuch could be a great bet as a young star on the rise in the NHL. His leadership will be greatly appreciated by the New York organization.
