After seeing him play a few games in a row without being left out, many observers believed that Shane Wright's season was officially underway with the Seattle Kraken, and that he could finally have some stability. (remember that he had been out of the lineup a few times earlier in the season)
But no! The Wright file continues to be the talk of the town, because after having played five games, with an average time of use of 6 minutes and 51 seconds, the young forward will surprisingly have to return to the stands.
Clearly, something is not working. He even had a little private meeting this morning:
It will be interesting to see what happens next, but Kraken supporters are not happy with the way things are going.
As my colleague at Fanadiens mentions, an 18 year old player needs to play to develop and right now Dave Hakstol obviously doesn't get that.
A return to junior could possibly eventually be in order for the young center, drafted fourth overall in 2022.
