On Friday night, Martin St-Louis made a big decision when he decided to separate Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield. As much as the young number 22 is creating fire with his captain, he had a hard time without him. The young forward had a tough game, as did many of his teammates.

Eric Macramalla, who combines his passions for sports and law to bring his legal opinion to TSN, had a comment that will surely be talked about tonight. The commentary is directly related to Caufield's success following his separation from Suzuki:

If the Canadiens want to pay Caufield less on his next deal, keep him off Suzuki's line for a while. Caufield struggled tonight. He needs a playmaker."

We don't know if Macramalla was serious with that comment or not, though, but we do know that it got a reaction. To imply that the CH wants to slow down Caufield in order to save money is quite a statement.

Most likely, St. Louis wanted to give the Stars trouble by giving them two lines to watch instead of one. Let's face it, besides the 14 and 22, there aren't many other threats on the CH this season.

However, there is no doubt that the two forwards will be playing together again in the very near future! Chemistry like they have, we don't see it often. It would be a shame not to take advantage of it!
