We told you a few minutes ago, things are moving today in the Carey Price file:
According to Stéphane Waite, who is still in regular contact with Carey Price, goalie #31 will be back at his position and healthy, as soon as training camp starts in September. This is huge.
However, as Shaun Starr (TSN) reports, that's not the only inside information Waite revealed.
Also according to the former CH goalie coach, Price has a huge dilemma right now and he's hesitating.
Either he stays in Montreal, to finish his career with the Canadiens and to continue living in a city he loves.
Or he asks for a trade, to a Stanley Cup contender, to realize his dream of one day winning the Stanley Cup.
"I asked Waite if he thought Price was a one-team guy or like some of the veterans without a Cup, would he try to chase one?
The only thing Price is desperate to achieve is to win that famous Cup. Price is VERY attached to the history of the #Habs and he wants to win here in MTL.
BUT
He's wavering between staying here or chasing a Cup elsewhere." - Shaun Starr, TSN
Knowing that the Tricolore is in the midst of a rebuild, it's understandable (although the rebuild is shaping up to be quick)
If Carey returns to the game, dominates, and proves that his health issues are well and truly behind him, could he be traded during the season? It will be interesting to watch.
