Are you familiar with the CapFriendly website? It's a platform where you can find all the contracts of all the NHL players, among others.
It's an extremely popular site among field hockey fans.
The people in charge of the site have published some rather interesting statistics through their Twitter account. They revealed the list of the most coveted players on the site.
Who are the two players that rank first? Carey Price and Shea Weber, two Montreal Canadiens properties.
This is not very surprising, considering the exuberant contracts they have. Price is paid $10.5 million per season until 2026, while Shea Weber is paid $7.857 million until 2026 as well.
With Price sidelined and Weber retired (unofficially), it's clear that their contracts are attracting mainstream attention.
Alexander Ovechkin rounds out the top-3 in this list, while Connor McDavid is sixth.
Christian Dvorak rounds out the top-10.
CH alumni Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Alex Galchenyuk also appear on the list. KK comes in at number eight, who is being paid $6.1 million this year, and Chucky is at number 14. Kotkaniemi's presence in this list is not surprising, but Galchenyuk? That's a surprising result.
