Among the many reports about Carey Price, there is a very interesting one that is flying slightly under the radar.
As you know, earlier this week, Jeff Gorton announced that Carey Price will remain with the team this season, and he may even have a role:
Despite being placed on the long-term injured list, and despite the fact that he will most likely not play this season, Carey will continue to be involved with the team.
His leadership and expertise will certainly be strong assets to the organization.
A DECISION THAT EVERYONE AGREES WITH
As reported in particular by the excellent Luc Gélinas (RDS), in order to prove that he wants to stay close to his teammates, that he precisely wants to get involved and that he will remain in the entourage of the Habs throughout the season, Carey Price and his family just made an interesting decision.
He will live in Quebec this year, and so will his family.
So, unlike Shea Weber, who spent last season in British Columbia, Price and his family will stay in Montreal. Solid!
"Carey Price wasn't just visiting for the golf tournament. He will spend the season in Montreal with his family." - Luc Gélinas
So he's in town to stay. That says a lot about his intentions, and we love it.
