We told you about it yesterday, it was a special day for many Montreal Canadiens fans in Quebec City, as many of them were able to meet Carey Price.

Autographs, pictures, good discussions with the kids, Carey was really generous with his time.

There was so much excitement that at noon, the Quebec City International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament announced that it would not accept anyone in line (there was a limit of 250 people and the rule was clear).

Despite this, some fans joined the line, hoping that Price would make an exception and stay a little longer.

In the end, they did very well!

Having covered autograph sessions on several occasions, I can confirm that it is extremely rare, but Carey did make an exception!

"Price was supposed to meet 250 fans, but the final count was higher, as there was a huge crowd for him and he agreed to go quite a bit overtime."

A very nice gesture from Carey, which proves that he is really an extraordinary person. A gesture that made the great happiness of his fans.

That's not all

Price made another superb exception.

Another rule that was clear: Carey was to sign only autographs, not merchandise (for all sorts of reasons, but notably to favor Price's fans, not dealers).

Price did make one lady very happy, and she managed to get a signature of the famous number 31 on her game jersey, for a very good reason.

This jersey was my last gift from my grandpa in 2008 and Carey accepted to sign it when I told him the story

Great emotional reactions from the fans. Bravo Carey!
