Not surprisingly, Cedric Paquette was suspended for two games for a dangerous act against Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras.
Here is the gesture in question:
Cedric Paquette was ejected from the game for this dangerous check on the Ducks' young center. Remember that Paquette is a repeat offender who had already received a suspension in 2017 for hitting from behind on defenseman Torey Krug.
The Habs are expected to issue a recall by tomorrow to replace Cedric Paquette in their 23-man roster. The names of Ryan Poehling and Laurent Dauphin have been mentioned.
