In a media scrum in the final seconds, live from New York, ahead of the game against the Rangers, Cole Caufield answered several questions, including the revelation that he just received a very interesting and important call for him:
"Cole Caufield says he got a call from Team USA for the World Hockey Championships and he would love to play there. But, he's going to focus on the Habs' next two games before making a final decision." - Eric Engels (Sportsnet)

It would be interesting for Montreal Canadiens fans to be able to follow Caufield's performance at the World Hockey Championships, as he could be an important player for the American team.
Caufield, 21, had an incredible end to the season and currently has 20 goals and 20 assists (40 points) in 65 games.
