The end of the Montreal Canadiens' regular season means it's time for an assessment. Therefore, most players spoke to the journalists to give their analysis of the season. Cole Caufield was no exception to the rule and took a moment to share his thoughts and feelings.
He admitted that being sidelined was particularly painful. Cole loves to play and is looking forward to next season to start fresh and prove his worth during a full season!
Cole revealed that he went through a tough period, finding it difficult not being able to play.
"I haven't played a full season yet, so I believe I still have to prove myself. At every level where I've played, I've continued to improve."

Number 22 also mentioned being proud of his teammates in this season that was far from easy. Despite the difficulties, such as injuries, the players did not give up and were combative throughout the season.
As for his contract, the young forward doesn't seem stressed at all. He is certain that everything will be resolved sooner rather than later. He also loves the idea of playing on the same line as Nick Suzuki for many years to come.
