What's going on with Carey Price? Apart from having him and his girlfriend build a house in British Columbia for his retirement, there is little information about the 31st. With the team on break, we can understand that it is quieter on this side.
On the other hand, Elliotte Friedman may have given us a hint about her via his podcast «32 Thoughts»:
"Now that the Olympics are out, there are two ways to do it: Number one, he can say, you know what, there are no Olympics this year, this team is playing for nothing, I will take the rest of the year to be physically and mentally healthy and I will see you all next September."
Although Carey's desire is to win a Stanley Cup, he may have to return to the game for the rest of the game, as Elliotte Friedman also said.
"Do the Canadiens and Price think that another team might want him, but the only way it could work is if he's healthy, so play a few games this year so other teams can see if it's okay. I think at some point this conversation will have to take place."
If we read between the lines, does that mean Carey won't be back this year? Perhaps not, but let us admit that this issue is becoming increasingly unclear.
