The Montreal Canadiens trained late in the morning for tonight's game at the Bell Centre to take on P.K. Subban, Tomas Tatar and the New Jersey Devils.

So based on what we saw this morning, Cayden Primeau should be the official goalie, who left the ice surface before his counterpart Samuel Montembeault.

As for the combinations, Dominique Ducharme was bold, there is no doubt. The most dedicated guy in the club, Michael Pezzetta, will not be in uniform, as will Rem Pitlick, who has been doing well since his arrival with the Montreal Canadiens.

Christian Dvorak, who is ready for a return, will not be in uniform tonight.

Because of some feedback, these guys will end up in the stands watching a guy like Joel Armia walk around. But, hey, we're more lazy with veterans, even if they don't perform at the level.

By the way, Ben Chiarot will play in the right corridor of the first defensive pair, allowing Alexander Romanov to stay to the left.

The two massive offense will be as follows, if ever they are to be used:

Once again, we're giving ice to Jeff Petry, who finds himself on the first unit despite his catastrophic performances since the opening of the season.

In short, the coaches increased the intensity level with a sprint period at the end of the training.
