The Montreal Canadiens suffered a very controversial loss in Chicago on Thursday night, by a score of 3-2.
The details on this heartbreaking loss :
Head coach Dominique Ducharme was not in a good mood after the game. His press conference was short and the journalists were given very short but meaningful answers.
Ducharme revealed what the referees gave him as an explanation after the goal awarded to Kurashev. According to the referees, it was Hoffman who moved the net. The head coach disagreed.
"It looks like it was us who moved the goal. However, I see that it's the red one."
The Quebecer admitted that all this is very hard to swallow, being that it's been many times that his team has been called against.
What surprises him the most in all this? That his team lost both calls, the one for the goal and the one for the offside...
One thing is for sure, we have never seen Dominique Ducharme in such a state. He was really not happy, which is quite legitimate.
The Habs 2021-2022 season is literally one to forget.
