The New York Rangers have put the name of giant defenseman Jarred Tinordi on waivers. He will inevitably be assigned to the AHL, if he is not claimed by another team.
A former first-round pick of the Habs in 2010, the American defenseman is not able to settle down in the big league. He played only seven games with the Rangers this year, collecting one goal in the process.
The 6-foot-6 behemoth has played 109 NHL games so far, collecting 13 points, including two goals. At 29 years old, his potential has likely peaked. It remains to be seen if any organization will give him another chance to show what he can do.
