In the last few seconds, the National Hockey League made a major announcement.
"Maple Leafs fined $100,000 for violating collective bargaining agreement!" - NHL
Wow, it's very rare to see this, but the NHL is giving their explanation:
"The NHL fined Toronto $100,000 for going to St. Louis on Dec. 26.
The league's collective bargaining agreement states that from Dec. 23 to Dec. 26, there are to be no mandatory team activities." - Chris Johnston, TSN
