On Monday morning, the Canadiens took their last team photo of the season. Carey Price joined his teammates for the occasion to be part of this memory.
When seeing the picture, many were worried that the goalie was alone in his corner. Don't worry, it's not because he will be removed from the picture this summer following his transaction, there is a very specific reason for that.
It is simply because Andrew Molson will be added digitally between St-Louis and Price, he could not be physically in the picture. You also noticed, on the second row, that a space is free next to Josh Anderson. It is also to insert Jonathan Drouin, who is currently in New York to have a second opinion on his wrist injury.
Of note, you can see that Petry is still with the team, but his A has been removed. Weber, who was not in the initial photo at the beginning of the year, will also not be added to this one.
Finally, Caufield had an unusual request during the photo!
