In the last few seconds, unsurprisingly, the Laval Rocket announced that Cayden Primeau will be in goal tonight against the Toronto Marlies live from the Place Bell.
It's now official.
Unsurprisingly, it's Cayden Primeau who will face the Marlies tonight at the Place Bell» - Anthony Marcotte, BPM Sports
And the Canadiens did not recall any goalie.
It will be really interesting to follow the developments in the Montreal Canadiens' goaltending situation today.
We know that Samuel Montembeault will be in goal, but who will be his backup? Jake Allen seems to still be injured.
«Montembeault will be in goal against the Islanders. Martin St-Louis says he doesn't know who will be the backup on the bench. [...] Allen is still absent from practice.»
- Andrée-Anne Barbeau
We have no idea who the goalie will be on the Habs bench tonight to back up 'Monty'.
It will be something to watch for today, and the Habs might actually have to dress an emergency goalie.
That would make for a great story.
