In a press conference in the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens' Quebec forward Jonathan Drouin announced that he will absolutely be present and at 100% in September for the beginning of the next training camp.
A great news!
His goal for next year is clear: he wants to play 82 games. Also, he added that he feels very good mentally:
"I feel 100 times better than I felt before in this environment. I'm not trying to control everything anymore (!) [...] my goal is to play 82 games next season" - Drouin on his desire to be part of the solution in Montreal.
- Marc-André Perreault
He also jokingly added that he is now gone for glory and should have no more problems with his wrists, because now that his two have given him trouble, he has no more left to mess up.
To watch Drouin's full media availability:
He seemed to be in great shape and in a great state of mind. We love it! He wants to prove himself to his new bosses.
