Juraj Slafkovsky made a nice trade with Chris Wideman of the Montreal Canadiens

We told you about it a few days ago, but it's now official. Juraj Slafkovsky will be wearing the #20 jersey with the Montreal Canadiens:
The veteran Chris Wideman has accepted, as a good teammate, to give his number 20 to Slafkovsky, but not for free.
Last night, in an interview with Tomas Prokop, Slafkovsky revealed the details of the full trade:
"Some quotes from Juraj Slafkovsky (for @DennikSport). About #20 - I'm so grateful to Chris Wideman. We have completed a trade. I'm giving him an autographed jersey, for his son and I'll definitely invite Chris to the restaurant as well."
We love it! It's a nice trade between the two new teammates and it's a nice gesture from Wideman, who admitted that he never hesitated to give Slaf the number 20.
"First and foremost, we're trying to create an environment and a culture where he can feel welcome with the team," said Wideman, who will wear No. 6 starting next season. "He's a young guy, and I wanted to make sure he knows that we're excited to have him with us and that we're going to make this an environment where he can reach his full potential and become a really good player in this league." - Chris Wideman, Via Montreal Canadiens website
We make jokes with the trade, but this is obviously a nice gift from Chris, to Juraj:
