In the last few minutes, the man who quickly won the hearts of Montreal Canadiens fans last season, goalie Andrew Hammond, announced some major news:
A surprise announcement, especially considering that he was still performing very well, but we can understand it.
So it's over for Andrew Hammond as a professional goalie, but it's certain that a brilliant post-career awaits him.
We really wish Hammond and his family all the best for the future. A great guy and a real one!
