Major: Jeff Gorton on the Verge of a Big Promotion in the NHL?
This is a very interesting development.
We have solid evidence of Jeff Gorton's significant importance within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
According to journalist Renaud Lavoie from TVA Sports, Jeff Gorton is seriously being considered for the position of Deputy Governor of the Montreal Canadiens.
He would thus replace Michael Andlauer, who has officially become the owner of the Ottawa Senators.
This is far from the rumors that had him joining another team to "supposedly" have a more significant role.
He would become an essential leadership figure in the NHL for the Canadiens.
A situation to monitor closely.
